Workers' Compensation « Result #1 on Oct 19, 2009, 7:14am »
We have just opened a law office in Delaware County Pennsylvania. Recognizing that being a CNA puts an employee at risk of injury and recognizing that at least here in Pennsylvania, employers will do what they have to to avoid paying workers' compensation, I was wondering whether there is a national association or even local CNA associations to contact to help disseminate information to CNAs in Delaware County. If possible we would like the opportunity to talk to CNAs on this very important topic. Thank you for your kind assistance

I have recently moved to Suffolk VA from WI, I am a certified NA in WI and have been for 15 plus years, Virginia has told me i would have to retake the course and test to get certified here, they said WI does not require testing and therefor i cannot have it forwarded here, I believe all heath care and home care positions here do reguire the certificate. Is anyone on this board familiar with VA and the requirements to work in assisted living or hospitals etc. and if i do does anyone know of free training while your working where they offer the course and possibly pay for it??? any info appreciated ..... thank you M
